We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Accountant to join our team at Calcutta Foundation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and providing valuable financial insights to support our mission-driven work.

ONLY FEMALE CANDIDATES

Key Responsibilities:

1. Bookkeeping: Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately in the organization's accounting system.

2. Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

4. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and donor contributions.

5. Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.

6. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations, including timely filing of tax returns and adherence to tax-exempt status requirements for non-profit organizations.

7. Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations, and implementing audit recommendations as needed.

9. Grant Management: Support grant accounting processes, including tracking expenditures, preparing financial reports for donors.

Salary: Rs. 20000-22000 per month (based on experience)

Qualifications:

-Must have 2-3 years of experience

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- Proven experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a non-profit organization.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
