Job Description

Summary of Key Functions


•Review Annual Work-Plan (AWP) for an effective implementation of various project related activities;

•Review and supervise work of field supervisors/ coordinators in line with the project work-plan and provide them with necessary inputs and direction;

•Provide hands-on support to the field implementation team for implementation, monitoring and reporting;

•Prepare various progress reports for donor-reporting as well as in-house reporting;

•Develop various formats/templates needed for collating, storing and disseminating various project related progress and challenges;

•Regular monitoring of various projects activities to escalate field-based learning, achievements and challenges;

•Develop project-wise training calendar for capacity building of project staff, and develop its rolling out strategy;

•Identity and document case studies related to various project themes related to governance, education, health and livelihoods;

•Collect, compile and review training modules on Violence Against Women, Right to Education (RTE) Act, local level planning, gender mainstreaming, health and livelihood and financial inclusion etc;

•Contribute in undertaking various project related external thematic reviews and evaluation studies;

•Support in conducting strategic exercise of the organisation, such as preparation of annual report, envisioning exercise, and other in-house meetings and reviews;

•Assist in preparing utilisation certificate and develop mechanism for tracking budget utilisation/expenditure under various program heads.

•Forge alliance with various NGOs/networks and other resource organisations for leveraging technical as well as financial resources.

•Liaison with the government officials/departments for rolling out various program components;


Remuneration :

Monthly remuneration would be INR 21000/- and travel allowances will be covered as per the organisation’s policy.


Qualification and experience


•Graduate in any discipline of social sciences, gender studies and education.

•2-3 years of demonstrated experience handling project on education, gender and SRHR

•Experience in program management, gender mainstreaming, capacity building, documentation and MIS.

•Should have adequate understanding of the relevant programs/policies relating to child protection, health, education.

•Computer proficiency is a must
