Job Description

1. Having an interest in fashion/textiles with a basic understanding of fabrics, including types, origins, and regional differences

2. Gathering data on various types of sarees, fabrics, and jewelry, including details like fabric type, region, price range, artisan/vendor details, and images

3. Designing a scalable database to store the collected data efficiently

4. Inputting collected data into the database, ensuring accuracy and consistency

5. Organizing sarees by type, region, price range, etc., to make the database user-friendly

6. Creating a dedicated page for the brand, making reels for Facebook and Instagram for the brand's products, posting on Facebook and Instagram, and responding to queries


Who can apply

Only women candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 15th Aug'24 and 19th Sep'24

3. are available for duration of 3 - 6 months

4. have relevant skills and interests


Other requirements

1. Suitable only for women

2. Research Skills: Ability to research various regions of India for specific saree or fabric types, materials, and art forms like chickenkari, kalamkari, paithani, etc.

3. Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry and organization

4. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with vendors or artisans across India for sourcing information

5. Time Management: Ability to manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines
