Job Description

We need a counsellor for twice a week. Plus she maybe asked to come for Adoption Committee Meetings and some court hearings involving POSCO cases from time to time.


Responsibilities:

- Taking individual counseling sessions with children

- Preparing older children for adoption

- Doing the counseling of the parents of CNCP (Child in Need of Care And Protection) kids

- Making and submitting reports of the all the counselings done

- Conducting workshop sessions for the Care Takers

- Counseling sessions of the Prospective Adoptive Parents as and when required

- Attending the Adoption Committee Meetings and submitting the reports of the same

- Preparing the Quarterly Reports of the Children as per the donor requirements

- Helping children with co - curricular activities like dance, art work for celebrating functions and events

- Accompanying children for Court cases and psychological assessments as and when needed

- Any other task assigned by the organization
